ABOUT
The Community Wellbeing Initiative aims to equip participants with skills and tools to support their own and others’ mental wellbeing.
It is designed to resource and upskill people with active community connections, who are involved with pastoral care and/or interested in community-facing ministries.
If you love to connect with and care for people, this could be for you.
The outline of the programme is:
- 2 workshops [3 hours each]. You must be able to attend both workshops.
- Online individual learning before and after each workshop [15min]
- A one-hour group online follow-up session at 2 and 4 months after the workshops.
The workshops will be held at St Heliers Presbyterian Church on Tuesday August 29th and September 5th from 6-9pm. A light meal will be available from 5.30-6pm. There is no cost for participating in this programme.
